Milled Dentures

What are Milled Dentures?
Milled dentures are made using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technology, where a high-precision milling machine sculpts the dentures from a solid block of material. This advanced process ensures an impeccable fit and superior strength, offering greater comfort and aesthetics than traditional methods.

Precision and Comfort
The precision of milled dentures ensures that each denture is crafted to exact specifications, providing a more precise and comfortable fit. This eliminates the need for the multiple fittings and adjustments often required with conventional dentures, offering a more efficient and pleasant experience.

Durability and Aesthetics
Milled dentures are made from high-quality materials that not only enhance their durability but also provide a natural, lifelike appearance. The materials used are carefully selected to mimic the look and feel of natural teeth, ensuring that your dentures blend seamlessly with your smile.

Why Choose Milled Dentures?

  • Superior Fit: Milled dentures are designed with remarkable precision for a more accurate fit.

  • Durability: These dentures are highly resistant to wear and tear, offering long-lasting performance.

  • Advanced Technology: Using the latest in digital design and milling technology, we deliver dentures that offer the highest standard in both function and aesthetics.

  • Customization: Milled dentures are fully customized to your unique oral structure, ensuring an optimal fit and comfort.

Implant Supported Dentures

What Are Implant-Supported Dentures?

Implant-supported dentures are dentures that are securely anchored to dental implants placed in your jawbone. Unlike traditional dentures, which rely on natural suction or adhesive, implant-supported dentures are firmly fixed in place, offering a more stable and comfortable fit. This means you can enjoy the freedom of speaking and eating without the concern of your dentures shifting.

Benefits of Implant-Supported Dentures

  • Enhanced Stability: The implants act as a foundation that holds your dentures securely in place, preventing any movement or discomfort.

  • Natural Feel and Appearance: Implant-supported dentures are designed to look and feel like your natural teeth, providing a seamless and lifelike smile.

  • Improved Functionality: With implant-supported dentures, you can enjoy a wider range of foods, from crunchy to chewy, without worrying about your dentures slipping or causing discomfort.

  • Preservation of Jawbone Health: Implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss that often occurs with traditional dentures. This helps to maintain the structure and integrity of your facial features.

  • Long-Lasting Solution: With proper care, implant-supported dentures can last for many years, making them a durable and cost-effective long-term solution.

Why Choose Implant-Supported Dentures?

  • Comfort: Implant-supported dentures provide a secure, snug fit, eliminating the discomfort and irritation commonly associated with traditional dentures.

  • Confidence: Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your dentures are firmly in place, allowing you to speak and eat with confidence.

  • Improved Oral Health: By stimulating the jawbone, implants help maintain its strength and volume, supporting the overall health of your mouth.

The Implant-Supported Denture Process
The process of getting implant-supported dentures typically involves two main steps:

  1. Dental Implants Placement: The first step involves placing dental implants into the jawbone. Over time, the implants fuse with the bone through a process called osseointegration, creating a solid foundation for your dentures.

  2. Fitting of the Denture: Once the implants have fully integrated with the jawbone, we will design and fit a custom denture that securely attaches to the implants, ensuring a comfortable and natural fit.

Restore Your Smile with Implant-Supported Dentures
At Park Implant Denture Centre, we are committed to providing our patients with the best in dental care. Implant-supported dentures offer a life-changing solution for those who want more than just a traditional denture. With this innovative treatment, you can enjoy a stable, beautiful, and functional smile that enhances your quality of life.

The Process of Getting SLM Partial Dentures

  1. Initial Consultation: During your consultation, we’ll discuss your dental needs, examine your mouth, and determine the best approach for your partial denture solution.

  2. Digital Impressions and Design: Using advanced digital imaging, we create a precise 3D model of your mouth, which guides the design of your custom SLM partial denture.

  3. Fabrication: Using Selective Laser Melting technology, your partial denture is carefully crafted with precise attention to detail to ensure an optimal fit.

  4. Final Fitting: Once the denture is complete, we will ensure that it fits comfortably and securely in your mouth, making any necessary adjustments to ensure it functions perfectly.

Immediate Dentures

At Park Implant Denture Centre in Sherwood Park, we understand the importance of maintaining your smile and confidence, even during dental transitions. That’s why we offer immediate dentures, a convenient solution designed to provide you with a temporary or Final dentures set of teeth immediately after extractions.

What sets us apart is our collaborative approach—our experienced Denturist, Jose Canas, works closely with skilled dentists to ensure a seamless and comfortable process for our patients.

What Are Immediate Dentures?
Immediate dentures are temporary dentures placed on the same day your teeth are extracted. These dentures ensure you leave the clinic with a functional and natural-looking smile, eliminating the wait time typically associated with traditional dentures.

A Collaborative Process for Your Care
At Park Implant Denture Centre, we prioritize patient care by fostering a strong partnership between our Denturist and your dentist. This collaborative approach ensures that both the extractions and the placement of immediate dentures are performed efficiently and with the utmost precision.

  • Comprehensive Planning: The dentist and denturist work together to plan your treatment, including creating detailed impressions of your mouth before extractions to design your dentures in advance.

  • Seamless Extractions and Denture Placement: On the day of your procedure, the dentist performs the necessary extractions while the denturist ensures your immediate dentures are ready for placement. This integrated approach minimizes discomfort and downtime.

Benefits of Immediate Dentures

  • Instant Smile Restoration: Walk out of the clinic with a complete smile the same day as your extractions.

  • Facilitates Healing: Immediate dentures act as a protective barrier, aiding in the healing process and reducing swelling in the extraction sites.

  • Maintains Appearance: Prevents the “toothless” appearance while you wait for your permanent dentures.

  • Customized Fit: Immediate dentures are designed based on pre-extraction impressions, ensuring a close fit that looks natural.

Transitioning to Permanent Dentures
As your gums heal and your mouth adjusts, some changes in fit are expected. Our team will work closely with you to provide adjustments, relines, or create your permanent dentures once healing is complete, ensuring a perfect fit and long-term comfort.

Meet Jose Canas

Jose grew up between Canada and the U.S.A. before settling in Alberta in 1997, where he discovered his passion for denturism. He started his studies at Grant MacEwan University and then transferred to NAIT’s Denturist program, graduating in 2004. After completing a two-year internship in Stony Plain, he received his practice permit and spent the next 10 years as an associate denturist in Fort Saskatchewan.

Now, Jose has brought his expertise and passion to Sherwood Park, where he continues to grow in his profession by pursuing ongoing education. He loves what he does and is dedicated to helping his patients smile with confidence.

When he’s not at the clinic, Jose is all about family time. He enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and daughters and has a true love for soccer—so much so that you’ll often find him on the field! He’s also working to pass that passion for soccer on to his daughters, hoping they’ll share the same excitement for the game
